We've known, seen and enjoyed it for years, but now a national audience could enjoy the fierce and passionate performance of alumnus drummer Sven van der Meer. He has already had some TV performances but during the widely viewed broadcast of (how fitting) "The Passion" the masses (and the director) fell for Sven's overwhelming drumming style. TV shows and national newspapers also noticed it. No matter where or with whom he performs, Sven is always cooking that drumkit. Be sure to catch him with fellow Conservatorium Haarlem alumnus MELLE

Former students Jesse van der Heijden & Ozughan Guney aka ANOTR keep expanding their innovative imprint on the international electronic music scene. The past years saw performances at Coachella, Pukkelpop, Sziget, and residencies on Ibiza as well as the strengthening of their own No Artr brand and Amsterdam-based festival. Currently enjoying global success with their release "Talk To Me" these boys keep on broadening their horizons on this magical and tremendously successful journey.

Next week it’s finally time for the amazing PopCollegeTour.
The formula: 6 leading music institutions are each represented by 1 artist, and those artists all perform in their respective cities within one week.
An amazing opportunity to check out some of the country’s finest talent.

During the upcoming PopCollegeTour we will be represented by Rhodon Cerise!
PopCollegeTour brings artists from 6 music institutions to 6 renowned venues throughout the country. Check https://www.popcollegetour.nl/ for dates and details

Rhodon Cerise’s music isn’s a quiet kind of magic: she writes mystical alternative folk, where themes as mental health, growth and spirituality meet magic, folklore and mythology. Shaped by the sonic diversity 90’s rock and (modern) folk, Rhodon creates a magical experience where melodic guitars and powerful drums blend with dreamy lyricism that walk the line between vulnerability and strength.

We are proud to be part of a very special Amsterdfam Dance Event project: for his ‘Portraits of Music’ series, photographer Bastiaan Woudt took stunningly beautiful pictures of faces from the electronic music scene.

Not just the god-like pioneers, but also the new generation, as well as future superstars. As a result it is truly amazing to see legends such as Jeff Mills and (our “very own”) Dave Clarke alongside ground-breaking alumni M-High and Stipp as well as current students such as Lizz V and Incult a.o.

Check them out at the Leica Gallery on the Museumplein in Amsterdam!

HUNK, the winners of the prestigious Rob Acda Award in 2024, are making waves in the indie music scene with their debut performance at Bevrijdingspop Haarlem, alongside the release of their surprise single, "Blushing Over Nothing."

The announcement that HUNK would perform on the main stage of Bevrijdingspop Haarlem the band by surprise. For fans eagerly anticipating more of their offbeat diet-grunge style, there was a slight hurdle—none of the band's tracks were available on the usual streaming platforms.

With this in mind, HUNK made the spur-of-the-moment decision to release their debut single, "Blushing Over Nothing" perfectly timed for their memorable performance at Bevrijdingspop.
